Description:
Washington DC and Mt. Vernon When our two boys were young we took them to Washington DC on and about the 4th of July 1987. After two hours looking for our Hotel we at last got on with exploring our nations capital. Our hotel was just down the street from the White House so toured that plus the Capital Building, Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials and the Air and Space Museum. We sat on the Washington Mall and listen to music from the Capital steps. The next day we went to Arlington Cemetery with the Graves of John and Robert Kennedy. After that we went to Mt. Vernon the former home of George Washington and his slaves. Camera: Minolta 7000 MAXXUM Music: Your Own Worst Enemy by Bruce Springsteen
